Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking

Bookings are available for a minimum stay of 3 nights. A reservation is confirmed once the booking has been accepted and full payment has been received.

By making a booking, the guest confirms that they have read and accepted these Booking Terms & Conditions and the House Rules.

2. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. The total price, including any applicable taxes and fees, will be shown before the booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellation

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge within 48 hours of booking. After this 48-hour period, the booking is non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.

4. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in and check-out times are provided in the booking confirmation. Guests must leave the cottage by the agreed check-out time unless a later check-out has been arranged with us in advance.

5. Number of Guests

The cottage may only be occupied by the number of guests stated in the reservation. Additional overnight guests require our prior approval.

6. Pets & Smoking

Pets are not permitted in the cottage.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the cottage.

7. Damage & Breakages

Please treat the cottage, furniture, equipment and surroundings with care. If something is accidentally damaged or stops working, please inform us as soon as possible.

Guests may be charged for damage caused by negligence, misuse or intentional actions, where permitted by applicable law.

8. House Rules & Safety

Guests agree to follow the House Rules and all safety instructions provided at the cottage, including those relating to the fireplace, sauna, heating and winter conditions.

The fireplace and sauna must be used responsibly and must not be left operating unnecessarily or unattended when this could create a safety risk.

9. Our Cottage

The cottage is an older, traditional Finnish log house surrounded by nature. Its character includes natural wear and small imperfections that are part of its charm. Guests are kindly asked to take this into consideration and treat the property accordingly.

10. Cleaning

Final cleaning is included in the booking price. Guests are not required to perform a full cleaning, but are expected to leave the cottage reasonably tidy, wash or load used dishes, dispose of rubbish and return items to their original places.

11. Problems During Your Stay

If you experience a problem with the cottage or something is not working properly, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help and resolve the issue promptly.

12. Liability

Guests are responsible for their own belongings and for the actions of everyone staying at the cottage. To the extent permitted by law, the host is not responsible for loss, theft, injury or damage to personal belongings resulting from circumstances outside the host’s reasonable control.
